There is a very close relation between human life and planets (graha). The entire astrology and palmistry is based on the movement and location of planets. Our horoscope shows the exact position of each planet house wise. Gemstones are worn to make the desired house strong and to gain benefits of that particular house. There are twelve houses in a horoscope.

There are various advantages according to their mukh.
1st House :        A house of self, personality, physical appearance, nature, and health. It is also called lagna sthana. This                         is the most important house in anybody's Horoscope

2nd House :       A house of wealth. Dhana sthana, this house represents financial status, profit & loss of movable                         Property.

rd House :         A house of brothers, sisters, neighbours, short journey, publications, writing etc.

4th House :       A house of land, vehicle, mother, house.

5th House :       A house of children, education, romance and games.

6th House :       A house of disease, enemy, servants.

7th House :       A house of marriage and business partnership.

8th House :       A house of insurance, accident and the type of death of the native..

9th House :        A house of fortune, long distance travel, and religious nature of the native.

10th House :     A house of job, business, and father..

11th House :     A house of gains, friends and relationship.

12th House :       A house loss, loan, & legal cases.

Most of the astrologers, including me, give importance to Lagna sthan (1st house) to recommend the favorable gemstone. First check the rashi in lagna sthan. Then see where the lord of lagna rashi is placed. If he is in favourable house then you can wear the gemstone of that planet. For example - In sinha lagna kundali, if Ravi is placed in favorable house like 3,5, 9,10 or 11., and not with enemy stars and rashi of Shani, Budh and Shukra, then the native of this horoscope can wear gemstone of Ravi , Ruby.

Each rashi has its specific ruling planet and each planet has its specific gemstone.

It is not possible to make a horoscope if you do not know your exact time of birth, and only know the date of birth. In such cases only rashi can be identified and Gemstones can be worn according to the rashi. But if you do not know even the date of birth, then the Gemstone can be worn according to your profession and specific purpose.

Ruby

:This gemstone gives name, fame and prosperity. It is a stone of Ravi. Those who are in profession of battery, control room, Government service, warehouse, dry fruits, power, electricity generation can wear this Gemstone.Doctors, Political leaders and those who have to control people wear this stone.

Pearl

:Pearl is worn to keep temper cool, ease the tension, clear thinking, and to remove confusion. Those who are in profession of liquids, chemicals, dairy products, agriculture, nursing, catering, travel, shipping and airline can also wear Pearl.

Red coral

:Technical people, job related to machinery, iron, instruments, chemist, Military, police and land related professionals should wear Red coral.

Emerald

:Commission agents, cashier, accountant, mathematician, telecommunication, and those who are in work related to speech should wear Emerald. It also increases memory power.

Pushkaraj

:Also known as yellow sapphire. Expensive, but very powerful. Anybody can wear. Generally does not give adverse effect. This stone enhances the effect of Guru, and Guru is karak of marriage, education and childbirth. It removes obstacles in finding a suitable match for a girl. It also gives wealth, respect, honour to the wearer of yellow sapphire..

Diamond

:A stone for artists. Those who are in luxurious goods business or dealing in very expensive materials can wear diamond. It also increases sexual power and attracts opposite sex person.

Neelam

:Those who are in business of leather, wool, airconditioners,fridges, metal, mines, mineral, scrap can wear this stone. It also cures skin related and prolonged disease.

Gomed

:Protection against all negativity, evil eye. Cures stomach problems. Helps in Financial set back.

Cat's eye

:Those who are in lottery, race, gambling business, shares or any risky business can wear this stone.
